St Lomans 5-8 Rochfortbridge 1-5

St Lomans made the trip to Rochfortbridge to play the home team in the championship on Tuesday last. St Lomans got of to a great start scoring 1-1 in the opening five minutes. The Bridge got back into it with a goal of their own and from here St Lomans upped their game with a lot of goal chances but failed to convert them but credit to them they kept plugging away and lead at half-time 1-5 to 1-2.

St Lomans started the second half brightly and added three goals in the first seven minutes of the half. Rochfortbridge kept plugging away but great defensive play from St Lomans kept them at bay. Twenty girls took to the field of play and every one of them played their and they can be proud of their performances. The final score was 5-8 to 1-5 in favour of the blues.
