St.Lomans U14 girls league report

Rochfortbridge were the visitors to Lakepoint park,as they took on St Lomans u14 girls in round 4 of the league.
St Lomans started brightly scoring 1-2 without reply but Rochfortbridge were always dangerous on the counter-attack but the Lomans girls defended very well.Lomans added to their tally before Rochfortbridge replied and the half time score was 3-5 to 1-1 in favour of Lomans.
Right from the throw in at the start of the second half Lomans scored a goal to increase their lead. Rochfortbridge added a further 1-1 themselves in the second half with the final score reading St Lomans 5-9 Rochfortbridge 2-2.This was a great team performance from the girls. Their movement on and off the ball was terrific as was thier hunger to go and win those 50-50 balls which can turn defence into attack.
