Well done to the lads on qualifying to begin with, a phenomenal achievement from all players and coaches. It’s great to see St Loman’s represented on a national scale. The Lads represented their county, club and most importantly themselves with distinction over the whole weekend.

The Tommy Lennon Memorial Under-10 Go-Games Blitz:

One of the great stalwarts of Mullingar Shamrocks was remembered this morning in the Tommy Lennon Memorial Under-10 Go-Games Blitz. St Loman’s u10s took part and won their Cup semi-final v Leixlip after beating hosts Mullingar Shamrocks and Celbridge earlier in the group stages. That set up a Cup Final versus the same opposition as in our own Joe Matthews Cup, The Downs. In the final, the sides were pretty even until The Downs pulled clear in the last quarter of the game. Congratulations to The Downs and thank you to Pat Collins and Mullingar Shamrocks for the invite.

Under 12 Girls:

It was winner takes all in the last group game for the Under 12 St Loman’s White team vs Kinnegad on Wednesday evening in Lakepoint Park. Both teams needed a win to progress to the division 1 championship! On a score line of 7-5 to 3-9 our girls deservedly went through! Well done to a great bunch of young ladies.

Under 8 Boys:

Well done to the under 8s who showed off their skills they’ve learned on the training ground in Cusack Park on Monday and Wednesday evening respectively. There were plenty of future stars on show.
