Under 10 Girls Blitz:

A brilliant day out in Croke Park for our U10 Girls on Monday. Over our 4 matches, we had a terrific display of skill and determination from all of our girls - St Loman’s can be very proud of every one of them. Our thanks to all of our traveling supporters who cheered us on all morning. Also a big thank you to LGFA and to Croke Park for a truly memorable event for the girls and their coaches.

Under 14 Boys Féile:

The under 14 boys travelled to Killucan to play the group stages of the Féile this morning. The weather was great and the football that followed wasn’t bad either.

First up was Athlone. This was never going to be an easy game as in the league encounter some weeks ago Athlone were the dominant team. Loman’s started strong and built up a good lead which they maintained throughout the game. The Blues had scorers from all positions on the field which was great to see.

After a quick turnaround next up was Shamrocks, Shamrocks started the stronger and built up a small lead. The boys manage to dig deep and pulled out a winning margin of 1 goal and a few points in a good game.

The scene was set for the last game against the host club Killucan and with tired bodies from the first 2 games, changes had to be made and the full squad utilized. The game started evenly but Loman’s got a foot hold in a very open style game, with lots of running off the ball and good scores. The Saints ran out winners to end up top of the table.

Intel Volunteering grant:

Big Thanks to Under 10 coach Eddie Gallagher who received his Intel Volunteering grant from Minister Heather Humphries and Eamonn Sinnott the head of Intel Ireland, alongside his two sons James and Mark who are both part of the underage academy in St Loman’s.
