Under 16 and Under 14 Boys:

We done to the 60+ lads that took the field on a bitterly cold January day to represent St Loman’s last Sunday.

First up were this years under 16’s who fielded a mixture of lads just out of 14 and lads now in their second year at 16 against a team that will be under 17 in Meath this year.

Considering being short a number of players, the spread of ages, the time of year and the quality of the opposition this was a great game for the lads!

After lunch the under 13 and 14 Boys took on Naas and again there was no shortage of honest effort with both teams more than holding their own playing some great football.

Thanks to everyone who organized the games and to Lorcan who served the tea all day.

Well done all.

Ireland’s Got Talent:

Well done to our very own Declan Colgan on receiving a standing ovation and four yes votes from the judges of Irelands got Talent which aired last Saturday night. It was a wonderful performance and we wish him the best of luck in the rest of the competition! Also tune into Virgin Media tomorrow at 3pm to see Declan on the Elaine Show.

Condolences:

St Loman’s would like to offer its condolences to the Tyrrell family following the passing of Moya Tyrrell, Ginnell Terrace, Mullingar.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
