U14 League

The U14 lads began their season in fine style on Thursday evening last with a win against neighbours Mullingar Shamrocks in Springfield. A strong first half performance laid the foundations for the win with Killian Browne, David Aughey, Adam O Connor, Cian Daly, Mark O Gara, Ethan Browne, Tyreek Creevy and Danny Mc Cartan all getting on the score sheet. Ethan Browne's point without doubt the score of the game running from his own half to pop over the bar!

St Lomans extended their lead early in the second half well taken goals from Ciaran Nooney and David Aughey. Finn Sheehan and Evan Johnson were superb in defence throughout the sixty minutes. The blues added late scores from David Aughey and Cillian Plunkett to seal an outstanding performance.

U16 League

The U16 lads travelled to Kinnegad on Monday evening last for their league opener. They suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of a very strong Coralstown Kinnegad team. Like winning early in the season teams can learn a lot and it’s similar in defeat so the lads will have plenty of better days ahead.

Lotto

There was no jackpot winner from the lotto draw on March 29^th. The numbers drawn were 8,15,22,27. Winners of €50 each were Nuala Higgins, Michael Watson, Sarah Mc Cormack and Christy Martin. Next week’s jackpot will be €1,400.
