Oskars Show

Mullingar’s first ever Oskar Show sponsored by Easons took place in a jammed packed Mullingar Park Hotel on Saturday night last and what a night it was! Seven films were shown on the big screen and the quality of acting was top class. The four judges on the night were Peter Coonan aka Fran from Love Hate, Mark O Connor, Fiona Gallagher and Dermot Mullen.

On the conclusion of the seven films the awards ceremony took place with the following winners; Best Film; The Snapper, Best Actor; John Daly, Best Actress; Janice Meleady, Best Supporting Actor; Tom Dempsey, Best Supporting Actress; Louise Matthews, Best Grossing Film; 12 Angry Men.

Many thanks to all who supported this event from our sponsors, our films locations and anyone who helped in any way!
