Oskars Show


This Saturday February 25th The Mullingar Hotel is the place to be with “St Lomans Night At The Oskars” taking place. The show is new to the locality but the theme is like Hollywood! 


Seven films have been shot and produced in nearby locations ready to be shown on the big screen on the night. The major twist is that all the actors and actresses are from Mullingar and surrounding areas! On the conclusion of the seven films there will be the Oskar Awards. What will win Best Film? Who’ll pick up the Oskar for Best Actor or Actress plus many more awards on the night!


Four judges have been confirmed to cast their views on the films. Peter Coonan better known for his role as Fran in Love Hate will be there while the other judges are film director Mark O Connor, Lord of the dance star Fiona Gallagher while local celebrity Dermot Mullen completes the list!

So dress up and get your tickets, walk the red carpet and experience the Hollywood lifestyle for one night only!

Underage Academy


Registration for the 2017 Underage Academy takes place this Friday February 24th from 7pm till 8.30pm and Saturday February 25th from 11am till 12.30pm in the clubhouse. Membership for the year is set at; U6 & U8 €25, U10 & U12 €40 with the third child free at these groups. U14 U16 and Minor is €40 while family membership is available for €100. FREE Club Hat for the first 200 children registered! The season kicks off on Saturday March 4th at 11am. We look forward to welcoming back our current stars while also welcoming new stars! All welcome!


Lotto


There was no jackpot winner from the lotto draw on February 15th. The numbers drawn were 5,8,12,28. Winners of €50 each were Marie Kiernan, John Byrne, Alan Martin and Ted Cronin. Next week’s Jackpot will be €2,900. 


Leinster U21 Championship


This Wednesday February 22nd Lakepoint Park will host the U21 Leinster Championship Game between Westmeath and Meath with throw in at 7.30pm. Patrons attending the game should be advised there will be no supporter parking inside the club grounds. Ample parking is available at Lakepoint Retail Park or St Lomans hospital both beside the club grounds.
