U13 Boys

Our u13s have opened the 2017 season for St Lomans with games against Meath opposition over the last two weekends in the Leinster League. Last Sunday the boys made the journey to the home of Trim GAA, St Loman's Park. The wide-open spaces of the full-sized pitch suited our lads and St Lomans came away with an impressive win. There were strong performances down the centre of the pitch from Ciaran Smyth, Eoghan & Tadgh Kenny and Cillian Plunkett.

The second match of the league was played Sunday morning against old foes, Ratoath. Ratoath are one of the strongest teams in Meath and a good challenge for our team. St Lomans scored 4-05 but that was not enough to hold off a physically stronger Ratoath. We hope for better luck in the upcoming matches against Naas and Celbridge. The tournament is giving the U13s a great introduction to fifteen a side matches.

A special mention to some of the younger players - Riley Sheahan and Harry Mannering were outstanding while Ross Killalea, Seanai Bracken and Shane Muldarry impressed when they came on in the second half against Ratoath.
